The School of Law at UC Irvine anticipates periodic openings for Adjunct faculty to teach a variety of legal courses, such as appellate and trial advocacy, business law (including international business transactions and non-profits), civil rights litigation, criminal procedure, environmental law, evidence law, family law, and children's rights, international human rights law, and specialized interdisciplinary courses such as law and economics and law and literature.

Individuals must possess a J.D. degree or equivalent and be a member of the bar in good standing. Candidates should have demonstrated professional competence and leadership ability, as well as teaching experience of exceptional quality. Candidates should have a background in directing the research and professional training activities of students. Normally, candidates will teach upper-level law courses.
