The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for a tenure-track position in Condensed Matter Theory. Exceptional candidates from all areas of theoretical condensed matter physics, particularly quantum matter and strongly correlated systems, are encouraged to apply. The appointment is at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidates should have a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Physics, and are expected to establish a dynamic research program and participate effectively in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Salary is commensurate with qualifications, training, and experience.
