Position description

The Department of Population Health & Disease Prevention, Program in Public Health at the University of California-Irvine seeks a Postdoctoral Scholar to study malaria and its vectors. We are seeking to hire a highly motivated, dedicated individual. Area of particular interests is bioinformatics of malaria or mosquitoes.

The candidates must hold a Ph.D. and possess an outstanding publication record. Candidates should have a strong background in Bioinformatics or Molecular Evolution. Prior research experience on mosquitoes or malaria parasites is not required. Must possess strong communication skills, excellent organizational skills and proficient working knowledge of mosquito biology and vector-borne diseases
