Position description

The Department of Radiological Sciences at University of California, Irvine is seeking a Specialist (Jr. Specialist, Assistant Specialist, Associate Specialist, and Specialist series) to provide research support during the academic year.

The position involves research investigation in the areas of cardiovascular and thoracic imaging (CVTI) in both CT and MR for a minimum period of 1 year. The research projects focus on applications of medical imaging, especially CT and MR, for cardiac, vascular and chest diseases. Applicants with a strong motivation to pursue a career in research or clinical aspects of medicine, or radiology, are encouraged to apply. A BA or BS is required. Prior experience in research, radiology or clinical medicine is desirable. Also the ability to communicate both verbally and in written format is important.
