Position description

Geoffrey Abbott's lab invites applications for a Junior Specialist position beginning April 1, 2019. The candidate will participate in several research projects related to ion channel and transporter function and physiology. The candidate should have training and experience in the area of mouse colony maintenance, mouse genotyping, molecular biology, and will also be expected to perform management duties including ordering of supplies. The position requires a B.S. degree in biological or biomedical sciences from an accredited university. The prospective specialist will work with Professor Geoffrey Abbott (for more information see https://www.faculty.uci.edu/profile.cfm?faculty_id=5869).
