Description

The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of California, Irvine invites applicants for a Postdoctoral Scholar to develop biomaterials with tunable immunological properties for cancer vaccines. The ideal applicant should have experience in protein expression, functionalization, and characterization; in vitro and in vivo immunological methods; and in vivo tumor models. Good organization, communication, and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team setting are essential. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, immunology, or other relevant field.

The initial appointment will be for a one-year period, with the possibility of an extension depending on performance and availability of funding.
