Description

The Hochbaum Lab in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering and the Department of Chemistry at the University of California, Irvine is seeking applications for a postdoctoral scholar for a project on electronic conductivity in supramolecular proteins. Ideal applicants will have experience in one or more fields of molecular biology, computational protein design, peptide synthesis, and experimental techniques for quantitative analysis of electron transport. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field of biology, chemistry, physics or engineering. The initial appointment would be for one year, with the possibility of an extension depending on performance.
