Postdoctoral Scholar Series
The Department of Neurology at the University of California, Irvine, has an opening for a Postdoctoral Scholar in Vascular Neurobiology and Stroke.

Requirements:
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree or equivalent by the start of the appointment and have a strong background in Neurology / Neuroscience or a related field.

Additional Information:
Postdoctoral Scholars will conduct research under the general oversight of Dr. Mark Fisher and are expected to contribute to the academic community by enhancing the Stroke Research Program. Experience preferred in one or more of the following: 1) small animal experimentation; 2) experimental pathology; 3) histochemistry and/or immunohistology; 4) cell culture/cell biology; 5) protein and molecular level analytics. Positions are dependent upon extramural funding and require a minimum appointment of one year. Rank and salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Initial appointments are and renewal is based on availability of support.
