Position description

The Department of Family Medicine and Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology at the University of California, Irvine anticipates openings in the Project Scientist series at the Assistant, Associate, and full Project Scientist rank.

REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must have a PhD or MD/PhD degree with demonstrated independent research showcasing original and creative contributions to a research project or program. Interdisciplinary skills and approaches with evidence of past research productivity, strong publication record and specialized training preferred.

Positions are dependent upon the availability of extramural funding and need. Initial appointments are for one year and renewal is based on availability of support. Rank and compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
