Position: Health Sciences Assistant/ Associate/ Full Clinical Professor

The Department of Neurological Surgery in the School of Medicine, University of California, Irvine, anticipates openings for physicians in its various subspecialties. These openings will be in the non-tenure track Health Sciences Clinical Professor series (Assistant, Associate, and/or Full Professor Levels).

Sub-specialties include the following: General Neurological Surgery, Skull Base and Cerebral Vascular Surgery, Endovascular Surgery, Spinal Surgery, Functional Neurosurgery, Trauma, Peripheral Nerve Surgery, Neuro-Intensive Care, Neuro-Endocrinology.

Requirements – MD, DO, or MD/PhD, California medical license is required prior to appointment. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible for certification in Neurological Surgery. Strong interest and demonstrated abilities in delivering patient care in an academic clinical setting, teaching residents, fellows, and medical students, and providing service to the University are required. Consider Residency training in Neurology with background in training in neurocritical care and neurointerventional surgery.
