VIDEO GAME SOUND DESIGN LECTURER SEARCH
UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, IRVINE –
CLAIRE TREVOR SCHOOL OF THE ARTS, DEPARTMENT OF DRAMA
The Department of Drama is establishing a search of qualified applicants for a position as part-time lecturer in Spring Quarter 2020 in the curriculum area of sound design for video games. An MFA in Sound Design or commensurate professional experience is required. Compensation for the quarter will be approximately $6,200.00 total and is non-negotiable.
Candidates for this position must have outstanding professional credits in video game sound design and a strong commitment to teaching, training, and working in a university environment. Candidates must demonstrate a pedagogical and professional profile that is compatible with distinguished undergraduate training at a major research university. Candidates should show a demonstrated ability and commitment to work effectively with a diverse student population.
