The Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing at the University of California, Irvine (UC Irvine) is seeking qualified candidates in the non-tenure track Health Sciences Clinical Professor series (Assistant or Associate rank). Clinicians interested in pursuing an academic career in clinical practice and teaching will be given an opportunity to grow in UC’s youngest and fastest growing school of nursing.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION: The School is seeking faculty with clinical and teaching experience in pediatrics. National board-certified PNP or FNP with practice experience in Pediatrics required. Master’s degree in Nursing or Post-Masters NP Certificate and active, unencumbered California RN license are required. A minimum of 1-year direct patient care experience within the last 5 years or current teaching experience demonstrating clinical competency is required.
DESIRED SKILLS FOR THE POSITION: Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) preferred. Multiple BRN specialty area approval at the Instructor level is preferred. Additional skills in simulation and online teaching preferred.
