The Department of Language Science is establishing a pool of qualified applicants to be considered to serve as temporary, part-time Lecturers. Qualified applicants will need to be able to teach one or more courses in areas of language science including theoretical linguistics, language acquisition, psycholinguistics, bilingualism, sociolinguistics, computational linguistics, corpus linguistics, and applied language science.

These positions may be available during the Fall 2020, Winter 2021 and/or Spring 2021 based on departmental needs. We are seeking candidates with strong teaching credentials who can contribute to the quality of our undergraduate Language Science program. The number of courses available varies by quarter and year.
The review process will begin on August 01, 2020, and screening will continue until positions are filled, with a final closing date of January 31, 2021. Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The pool will close on February 26, 2021; if you would like to be considered after that time, and the pooled position is advertised again, you will need to submit a new application.
