The UCI Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking applicants for the Multimedia, Design, and Technology (MDEdTech) Fellowship program for the start date of July 1, 2021. Clinical fellows will hold a Health Sciences Clinical Instructor title.
DESCRIPTION: The MDEdTech fellowship incorporates emerging technologies, multimedia design, and social media into undergraduate (medical student) and graduate (residency) medical education. The goal is to create clinical educators who are nimble and engaged digital physicians, able to utilize novel technologies to better engage and educate learners in diverse learning environments.

DUTIES: Clinical professional competency and excellent patient care; teaching and advisement to residents, medical students and other relevant academic learners; scholarly and creative activities applicable to fellowship; and university and public service.
REQUIREMENTS: M.D. or D.O. degree; completion of an ACGME accredited Emergency Medicine Residency training program; candidate must be eligible to obtain a California Medical License, UCI Medical Staff Privileges and Board Certification in Emergency Medicine.
Positions are dependent upon funding. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointments are for one year and renewal is based on availability of support.
