Description
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking an energetic and creative academic board eligible/certified orthopaedic faculty members with specialization in Spine Surgery for an appointment at the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series (Assistant, Associate, and/or Full Professor Levels) in the non-Senate, non-tenure track. Applicants should have specialty training experience that includes spine deformity, trauma, degenerative diseases and reconstruction. The successful candidate must hold a M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree(s) and be eligible for California Licensure. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The successful candidate will be expected to take part in the teaching of orthopaedic residents and medical students, demonstrate professional competency and activity and perform University and public service. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to cover trauma call related to spine reconstruction. We deliver clinical services at the UCI Medical Center in Orange and The Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center in Costa Mesa. The successful candidate should have a strong commitment to patient care and resident education, and an interest clinical research.
