Department of Plastic Surgery
Position: Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor

Qualifications: Candidates must possess an M.D., board certification or board eligibility in plastic surgery, and a California Medical License are required. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with training, qualifications, and experience. Strong interest and demonstrated abilities in delivering patient care in an academic clinical setting, teaching residents and medical students, and providing service to the university are required. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Candidates must have completed a Craniofacial Surgery Fellowship. The individual hired by UC Irvine's Department of Plastic Surgery will focus clinically on cleft lip/palate repair, microtia reconstruction, speech surgery, gender confirmation surgery, treatment of vascular anomalies, facial trauma, and adult melanoma facial reconstruction. She or he will be integral in resident and fellowship education at both CHOC Children's Hospital and UC Irvine Medical Center and therefore must have a strong record of research accomplishment and a passion to teach
