Description

A position is available in the Specialist series for an individual with extensive research experience in the field of spinal cord injury. Primary responsibilities include the coordination and management of multi-investigator research projects carried out in the Reeve-Irvine Research Center. Direct involvement expands into protocol management, implementation of experiments, behavioral testing, data management, statistical analyses, and preparing data for publication. Additional duties may include training undergraduate students and postdoctoral fellows in spinal cord research techniques.

A Ph.D. in biomedical science, and/or basic science research with managerial experience is desired. Strong verbal skills, written communication skills, and an ability to think critically is needed.
