Musculoskeletal Imaging and Emergency Radiologist

Position: Assistant Professor of Clinical (X) Radiological Sciences
Job Location: Orange, CA

Due to sectional growth and programmatic expansion, the Department of Radiological Sciences, University of California Irvine, is seeking a qualified candidate as Assistant Professor of Clinical (X) Radiological Sciences Series rank (Clinician Researcher) in the subspecialty of Musculoskeletal Imaging and Emergency Radiology. The position includes clinical service and teaching of medical students, fellows, and residents. This new faculty position will be responsible for 60% clinical coverage. For the balance of the appointment, the incumbent will perform teaching duties and carry out research in the Department and at the Center for Artificial Intelligence in Diagnostic Medicine.
Requirements - The applicant must be fellowship trained in Musculoskeletal Imaging and have a definite documented research and teaching interest in musculoskeletal and oncologic imaging as well as artificial intelligence. Candidates must be board-certified in diagnostic radiology and be licensed in the State of California.

The University of California, Irvine Medical Center is a 411-bed tertiary and quaternary care hospital with all residencies. UCIMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center in urban Orange County. There are collegial relationships with all services. UCI offers excellent salary and benefits with an incentive plan. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
