Position description

The Department of Economics seeks to hire one part-time Assistant Specialist working as a Research Project Coordinator/Technical Writer. The position requires a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Education, or related field. Knowledge of behavioral sciences and program evaluation approaches and methods. The Research Project Coordinator/Technical Writer will work under the supervision of a faculty member in the Department of Economics. The duties include editing and proofreading written materials, preparing IRB applications and amendments, and writing and coordinating the grant application process. Potential management of proposals and maintaining a donor database.
The position will pay $25.53 hourly and the initial appointment will be for 6 months. Estimated 10 hours per week not to exceed 20.
