The Department of Drama is establishing a search of qualified applicants for a position as part-time lecturer for Winter Quarter 2021 in the curriculum area of Theatrical Design.
The department seeks applicants to teach a graduate level class in Interactive Experiences and Technology. An MFA, or commensurate experience, in Drama/Theater Arts/Art/Computer Science is required. Ideally looking for applicants that are familiar with interactive circuit design and programming using the Arduino platform, C++, TouchDesigner, Raspberry Pi, Python, or similar software.
Compensation for the quarter will be approximately $6,200.00 total and is non-negotiable.
Candidates for this position must have strong professional credits and a strong commitment to teaching, training, and working in a university environment. Candidates must demonstrate a pedagogical and professional profile that is compatible with distinguished graduate training at a major research university. Candidates should show a demonstrated ability and commitment to work effectively with a diverse student population.
