This position will be focused on synthesis and engineering of recombinant proteins to mediate nanoparticle adhesion. The project also entails synthesis of inorganic nanoparticles, bioconjugation, flow chamber experiments to assess binding, and computational simulations to analyze the results. A wide range of skills will aid in these efforts, so interested applicants are encouraged to apply.

Requirements: Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in any discipline of engineering, chemistry, or biology. Experience in molecular biology, synthetic chemistry, nanoparticle synthesis, drug delivery, imaging, and/or computational modeling would be beneficial, but not required.

Note: Total duration of an individual’s postdoctoral service may not exceed five years, includes postdoctoral service at other institutions.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and years of experience.
