Description
The Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine is seeking a qualified candidate for a non-ACGME Clinical Instructor Microvascular Fellow for 1 year. This opportunity will allow the candidate in-depth exposure to microvascular surgery of the breast, trauma, cancer reconstruction, head and neck and hand. The fellowship will encompass the entire breadth of reconstructive microsurgery with the goal of developing skills for pre-operative planning, independently performing high complexity cases, and providing comprehensive postoperative care.
Requirements
Prior to starting the fellowship July 1, 2021, candidates are required to have:
(a) Completed an ACGME Plastic Surgery residency program
(b) American Board of Plastic Surgery eligibility
(c) Obtained a California medical license
