Small Animal MRI Research Associate/Postdoctoral Fellow in Cancer Research is available immediately. This position is an excellent opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary environment and have close interactions with MR physicists, radiologists, oncologists, and endocrinologists. Access is available to four dedicated research scanners, including 3T Philips, 9.4T animal Bruker Biospin, micro-PET/CT, and a powerful computer-cluster. Collaboration within the medical school allows for ready translation of technical developments into clinical settings.

Specific Responsibilities:
The postdoctoral fellow is expected to work on projects involving small animal MRI and micro-PET/CT image acquisition and data processing using existing tools and development of new MR imaging methodologies. Potential research projects depend on the mutual interests of the candidate and the PI.

Requirements
The qualifications for a successful candidate should include:
• A PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Physics or other related fields or a MD in cancer research
• Demonstrated small animal handing skills, research capabilities and strong interpersonal skills
• Substantial experience in Bruker MRI pulse sequence
