Position description

The Division of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Medicine is recruiting for clinical faculty members at the level of Assistant Professor or above, in the Health Sciences Clinical Series. Positions can involve clinical and academic activities at one or more sites including UCI Medical Center and UCI Satellite Community Clinic locations. This position is for general hematology/oncology clinicians who will join a growing Community Cancer Network at our established and/or planned satellite practice sites. These positions are expected to: enroll appropriate patients on clinical studies, but will not be asked to develop or be PIs for clinic studies; provide exceptional clinical care; maintain QOPI certification standards; and be active in business development & CME events inclusive of multidisciplinary tumor boards, among other activities.

Minimum requirements: MD, MD/PhD or equivalent degree, Board certification or eligibility in adult Hematology and/or Medical Oncology, and eligibility to obtain an active medical practice license in the State of California.
