Position description
The Department of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine anticipates openings for Health Sciences Clinical Instructors in its various divisions. Clinicians interested in pursuing an academic medicine career in general or sub-specialty medicine will be given the opportunity to grow in a dynamic department.The divisions/sub-specialties include:
Immunology
Infectious Diseases
Cardiology
Nephrology and Hypertension
Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism
Occupational and Environmental Medicine
Gastroenterology
Pulmonary
Critical Care Medicine
General Internal Medicine
Rheumatology
Hematology/Oncology
Occupational and Environmental Medicine
Minimum Requirements: M.D. or M.D/Ph.D. and/or equivalent license appropriate to the position(s). Board Certification or Eligibility within specialty is also required. Interest in teaching is essential. The applicant must have demonstrated capabilities for teaching.
