The Department of Radiological Sciences at University of California, Irvine is seeking a Specialist (Assistant, Associate, full series) to support research efforts.
We are seeking to hire a highly motivated, dedicated individual with an excellent medical imaging instrumentation research background. The candidate will assume responsibilities including: (1) Medical imaging device development; (2) deep learning algorithm for image reconstruction; (3) design, coordination and execution of research experiments; (4) Mentoring graduate and undergraduate students; (5) preparation and submission of manuscripts, grant proposals and research-related regulatory documentation.
Masters, or PhD, or MD, degree is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in photoacoustic/optoacoustic imaging.
