Position description
The Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Care at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, is offering this academic appointment as Health Sciences Clinical Instructor in conjunction with our one-year Fellowship programs.
The Fellowship programs are designed to provide extensive clinical training as well as opportunities for teaching and research in patient safety, quality improvement, quality monitoring, quality reporting and metrics through innovative rotations that can include Acute Pain Management, Regional Anesthesia, Simulation Medicine and Obstetric Anesthesiology.
Fellowship programs include:
- Leadership in Perioperative Medicine
- Medical Education Simulation
- Obstetric Anesthesiology
- Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine

Qualifications
Completion of an ACGME accredited Anesthesia residency program, California DEA and medical license prior to start of Fellowship program. Candidates must be board-certified or eligible for certification in Anesthesiology.
