Position: Jr Specialist/Assistant Specialist • 2021 - 2022
The Department of Radiological Sciences at University of California, Irvine is seeking a Specialist (Jr. Specialist Assistant) to support research efforts.
We are seeking to hire a highly motivated, dedicated individual with an excellent medical imaging research background. The candidate will assume responsibilities including: (1) Organization of medical imaging datasets acquired using various modalities, including MRI, CT, PET/CT, mammography, ultrasound, etc. (2) Application and machine learning and deep learning algorithms for image reconstruction and analysis; (3) Design, coordination and execution of research experiments; (4) Mentoring graduate and undergraduate students; (5) Preparation and submission of manuscripts, grant proposals and research-related regulatory documentation.
Bachelors/Masters degree is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in medical imaging analysis using artificial intelligence based analysis methods, including machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
