Colon and Rectal Surgeon
Position description
The Department of Surgery at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine is recruiting a Colon and Rectal Surgeon to join their dynamic and growing Division of Colon & Rectal Surgery. This position will be at the level of Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor or above (non-tenure), depending upon the candidate’s qualifications, and will be in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series.
The responsibilities of this successful candidate include:
· Providing patient care in multiple aspects of adult colon & rectal surgery
· Participation in research programs
· Teaching of residents, and medical students, and physician extenders
· Demonstrating professional competence and activity
· Performing University and public service
Qualifications
- Board Certified Colon and Rectal Surgeon
- Advanced skills in minimally invasive colon and rectal surgery
- Significant demonstrated interest in teaching and future research collaboration
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D.
