Mihaela Balu, Ph.D., has an opening for a post-doctoral position to work on an exciting project on the development of instrumentation based on multiphoton microscopy for pre-clinical and clinical applications in the Nonlinear Optical Microscopy (NLOM) Lab at the Beckman Laser Institute & Medical Clinic, University of California, Irvine (UCI). The initial position may be for up to two years, with the possibility of renewal. Requirements: Ph.D. (in Physics, Optics, Chemistry, or related Engineering field), or an M.D., or the foreign equivalent.

The Beckman Laser Institute & Medical Clinic at UCI (http://www.bli.uci.edu/) is internationally-recognized for its research, innovation, and unique translational technology rapidly moving new technologies from bench-to-bedside.
