Position description

Due to departmental and sectional growth, the Department of Radiological Sciences, University of California Irvine, is seeking a qualified candidate in the in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor academic series (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level). Primary responsibilities for this position would include, but not limited to, diagnostic interpretation of imaging performed through the UC Irvine Health including radiographs, fluoroscopic procedures, CT, US and MRI.

Requirements –The successful candidates must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree. Must have excellent clinical, technical and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to education, research and patient safety. Responsibilities include clinical service, teaching and clinical research in a busy tertiary care center. Applicants must be eligible or possess certification by the American Board of Radiology, and be fellowship trained in Abdominal Imaging, Cardiothoracic imaging, Musculoskeletal imaging or equivalent. Candidates must be licensed or be eligible for licensure in the State of California.

The University of California, Irvine Medical Center is a 411-bed tertiary and quaternary care hospital with all residencies. UCIMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center in urban Orange County.
