Position description

The University of California, Irvine, Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, is searching for a full-time faculty member at any rank in the area of Interventional cardiology.

The successful candidate will have clinical responsibilities including outpatient clinic, responsibility with inpatient consultation/CCU service. Clinic responsibilities will mainly be at our outreach location(s) and inpatient work at our medical center campus. Other duties will include training and supervision of trainees and students and scholarly activity. We especially welcome applicants with a interest in clinical research and experience in peripheral vascular intervention. Prior to the start of employment, an individual must possess the following qualifications: (1) have an MD or equivalent, (2) be board certified or eligible in cardiology or equivalent and (3) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the state of California.

Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications and experience. A generous package of retirement benefits is included when employed by the University of California. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled.
