The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of California, Irvine, is recruiting for a full-time Specialist series academic to support research projects in the Brian Paegel lab. We are seeking a candidate who will perform routine peptide and small molecule solid-phase synthesis. As the candidate grows, they will become involved in and drive combinatorial DNA-encoded library synthesis and the development of novel chemistries to enable these pursuits.
Applications will be considered until position is filled. The final candidate will be appointed at the level that is commensurate with their education and experience. This appointment is for a period of one year with the possibility of renewal. This position is eligible for benefits.
B.S. in Chemistry or related field.
