Postdoctoral Scholars, Durkin Lab
Position description
Prof. Anthony J. Durkin/The Durkin lab at the Beckman Laser Institute & Medical Clinic has multiple Postdoctoral Scholar open positions (Levels 0-IV).
Candidates should have a Ph.D. or an M.D., or the foreign equivalent. Additional Qualifications: Potential applicants should have an interest in translational optical imaging and the ability to work in a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary setting. Candidate should also have experience assembling instrumentation. Professional communication skills, both written and oral, are a must, as is a willingness to help manage projects.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in biophotonics and tissue optics. Experience with MATLAB programming is desirable.
Responsibilities include collection and analysis of Spatial Frequency Domain Imaging data from in both preclinical and clinical settings as well as instrument design, fabrication, validation and application.
All appointments are for one year with the potential for extension dependent upon performance and funding.
