Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series
The Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Care at the University of California, Irvine seeks qualified candidates for all ranks in the non-tenure track Health Sciences Clinical Professor series (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor). Fellowship trained or equivalent experience in Cardiac, Obstetric , Pediatric, Pain Medicine or Critical Care Anesthesia desired. The Health Sciences Clinical Professor will provide care at UCI Medical Center and/or affiliated sites in Orange County.

UCI Medical Center is a 459-bed acute care hospital equipped with state-of-the-art operating rooms and is the region’s only Level I trauma center and Level II pediatric trauma center. UCI offers an excellent salary, incentive, and benefit program. Faculty rank and compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications. The Health Sciences Clinical Professor series will have on average a 40-hour work week clinical commitment including call responsibilities. Additionally, opportunities are available for internal moonlighting. The total annual compensation package depending on rank and step ranges between $425k to 550K. Applicants are required to be board certified/eligible and licensed to practice in the state of California.

Qualifications
Candidate must hold a M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree(s) and be eligible for California Licensure; Anesthesiology Board eligible/certified and licensed to practice in the state of California.
