Position description
The Department of Dermatology is seeking candidates to for a Tenure Assistant Professor/Associate Professor position with expertise and experience in cutting-edge discoveries and clinical care in dermatology. The Department seeks a board-certified MD or PhD with a strong academic background and research program with strong potential for consistent funding. This position will include some clinic time but there will be significant time allotted for research. Federal funding or significant potential for federal funding will be evaluated. Research space may be available on the UC Irvine campus, as are multiple collaborative opportunities with clinicians and scientists in a wide variety of disciplines. The successful recruit will also participate in teaching and mentoring activities of the department, which may involve medical students, graduate students, residents, fellows, and junior faculty.
