Position description
The Division of Undergraduate Education has an opening for a lecturer during the 2022 Fall Quarter (September 19 – December 15, 2022) for the following course:
UNI STU 10 "Introduction to Civic and Community Engagement and Community Research". This course provides a foundation for understanding the role of public scholarship, civic engagement, and social action, and the relationship between service learning and engaged citizenship. Introduces key theoretical and research methodologies on the traditions and innovations of civic and community engagement.

Qualifications
Required: A Master’s or Ph.D. in a field appropriate to the course (e.g., Civic Engagement, Public Policy, Sociology) and experience working in the field of community research or an equivalent amount of relevant professional working experience.
