Position: Health Sciences Clinical Instructor – Abdominal Imaging Fellowship
We are currently accepting applications for fellowship positions in the Department of Radiological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, for the academic year 2024-25. A one-year Abdominal Imaging fellowship is offered in the Department of Radiological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine, with an emphasis on cross-sectional abdominal imaging and coordinated experience in CT, Ultrasound, MRI and image guided procedures. Fellowships are at the Health Sciences Clinical Instructor level, based at the UC Irvine Medical Center, and will have the benefits and privileges through the University of California, Irvine.
In addition to the one year fellowship focused on Abdominal imaging we offer additional tracks which combine abdominal imaging with breast imaging, artificial intelligence training, or specialization in advanced MR imaging.
Our mission, within the Department, and in a broader context as a University of California School of Medicine campus, is to provide an excellent educational experience, so as to produce highly trained fellows who will go on to become leaders in their field. We provide an optimal combination of high advanced imaging volume, variety of cases, experience with protocoling, academic and research time, to produce very skilled, well-rounded abdominal imagers with extensive knowledge of abdominal Imaging. The fellow will participate in Ultrasound guided procedures and will gain vast experience in vascular ultrasound. Participation in the department's on-going research projects and publication is highly encouraged.
Successful applicants will be Health Sciences Clinical Instructors in the School of Medicine, and will actively participate in the teaching of UC Irvine residents and medical students, as well as participate in several interdisciplinary conferences.

Qualifications
-Currently in or completed a four year ACGME recognized Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program
-M.D. or D.O. degree
-American Board of Radiology certified or eligible
