Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series
Position description
The Department of Neurological Surgery in the School of Medicine is seeking a dynamic academic board eligible/certified neurosurgeon with a focus practice in Spine. The appointment is in the non-tenure, non-Senate track of the Health Sciences Clinical Series at the Associate or Full Professor Level. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with training, qualifications, and experience.
Criteria
The successful candidate will be expected to participate in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students; provide excellence in patient care; contribute to scholarly/creative activities and University and public service.
Qualifications
Successful candidate must hold a M.D., DO, or M.D. /Ph.D. degree(s) and be eligible for a California medical license. The successful candidate must be board-eligible/certified. The successful candidate should have completed fellowship training in spine surgery. Current clinical background and have worked in a clinical environment in the past 3-5 years. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Have effective management skills. Excellent salary and benefits with incentive plan.

Licensed to practice medicine in the state of California by start date.
