Position description
The Pulmonary and Critical Care Division of the Department of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) is recruiting for a physician of Health Science Clinical Professor series, at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels. Applicants must hold an MD or equivalent degree, be Board certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and eligible to obtain an active license to practice medicine in the State of California. The ideal candidate would be someone with strong interest in intensive care unit attending (with future potential for MICU directorship), inpatient and outpatient pulmonary medicine, and preferably an additional area of specialized interest such as interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, or complex obstructive airway disease (asthma, COPD, emphysema).
Qualifications
Applicants must hold an MD or equivalent degree, be Board certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and eligible to obtain an active license to practice medicine in the State of California
