Professor of Environmental and Occupational Health
The Department of Environmental and Occupational Health at the University of California, Irvine is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position at the Professor rank. The department is interested in candidates with a strong research program in any area of environmental and occupational health, including but not limited to environmental or occupational epidemiology, environmental toxicology, exposure science, intervention science, climate change and health, and environmental health disparities. We especially encourage applicants with innovative new perspectives and transdisciplinary research approaches, creating opportunities for collaborative research and training within our department, with the other departments in our emerging School of Population and Public Health, with the other schools within the College of Health Sciences (Medicine, Nursing, Pharmaceutical Sciences), or with any of the various research centers at our campus. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. See Table(s) [https://ap.uci.edu/wp-content/uploads/prof-FY.pdf]. The salary range for this position is $120,200-$218,500. “Off-scale salaries” and other components of pay, i.e., a salary that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated rank and step, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions.

Candidate Qualifications:
All applicants must have a doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, DrPH, DVM or MD) and a strong record of research accomplishments and peer-reviewed publications.
