Position description
The Department of Dermatology at the University of California, Irvine is currently seeking applicants for a Clinical Research Specialist at the Junior Specialist level to begin between May 2023 -July 2023. This is a one-year non-ACGME fellowship position under the direction of Kristen Kelly, M.D., Chair and Professor of the Department of Dermatology.
The is a one-year full time research position, which includes salary and benefits. The candidate will work directly with Dr. Kelly and will be involved in a number of clinical trials and technology development. The candidate will be involved in writing protocols, study coordination, data collection, data analysis, manuscript preparation and submission, and presentation of findings at regional and national meetings. Candidates who are interested in dermatology are encouraged to apply. Student would take a one-year leave of absence from medical school if selected for this role.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants should possess baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree).
Junior Specialist rank - baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) or equivalent research experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Enrolled into medical school.
