Position description
The School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of California, Irvine is seeking outstanding applicants for a faculty position in Pediatric Pharmacy Practice within the Department of Clinical Pharmacy Practice. The School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences is one of the five schools/institute under the Susan and Henry Samueli College of Health Sciences.
Candidates will be considered for faculty positions at all professor ranks.
A successful candidate will be expected to teach both student pharmacists and pharmacy residents at the didactic and experiential levels and will engage in scholarly activities. The candidate will also play an integral role as a clinician educator providing clinical services and developing educational programs at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). This position will report to the Chair of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy Practice.

Salary and appointment level will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and based on published UC pay scales. Review of applications will begin immediately, and the position will remain open until filled.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a pharmacy degree and should have completed post-graduate training such as residency, fellowship, or another post-graduate training (eg. Masters, PhD). Competitive applicants will have experience in relevant clinical service and teaching, demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, show promise for academic advancement within the UC system, and be eligible for California pharmacy licensure as applicable to the position.
