Position: Professional Research Series
The Department of Urology, in the School of Medicine, at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center in Orange, California anticipates openings in the Research Series, (Assistant, Associate, and/or Full Researcher) non-senate, at various levels. Level and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Requirements: Candidates must hold a doctorate degree or its equivalent. The ideal candidate should be self-driven and motivated, with research experience strongly preferred. This is an ongoing recruitment. Positions are dependent upon extramural funding. Initial appointments are for one year and renewal is based on performance and availability of support.
The criteria for this series are specified below:
• Research qualifications and accomplishments equivalent to those for the Professor series
• Professional competence and activity equivalent to those for the Professor series
• University and/or public service
