Position description
UC Irvine School of Medicine
Department of Plastic Surgery
The University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, Department of Plastic Surgery anticipates openings for physicians. These openings will be for Assistant / Associate / full Professor ranks in the Clinical X Series.
Criteria for the Professor of Clinical X Series: The incumbent will be expected to teach fellows, residents, and medical students; clinical research/ creative activity; provide clinical patient care; contribute to scholarly activities; and provide public and University service.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D., board certification or board eligibility in Plastic Surgery, and California Medical License edibility is required.
Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with training, qualifications, and experience. Strong interest and demonstrated abilities in delivering patient care in an academic clinical setting, teaching residents and medical students, and providing service to the University are required.

Qualifications
M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. from an accredited institution with appropriate training and experience, postgraduate clinical training, and eligibility to sit for the American Board. CA Medical license eligibility is required.
