Position description

The Division of Undergraduate Education has an opening for one lecturer to cover two courses, one during the 2024 Winter Quarter (January, February, & March of 2024) and one during the 2024 Spring Quarter (April, May, & June of 2024) for the following courses:

The H30E course (Cities: Focal Point for Sustainability Problems and Solutions I) is taught in the Winter Quarter. This course focuses on describing cities as examples of interconnected challenges and opportunities for environmental and social sustainability in the areas of land use, transportation, water, energy, waste management, and food supply.

The H30F course (Cities: Focal Point for Sustainability Problems and Solutions II) is a continuation of the H30E course and is taught in the Spring Quarter. This course focuses on exploring potential solutions to city-oriented sustainability challenges through a course project aimed at addressing challenges of specific cities.

The H30E/H30F course series is co-taught by three instructors. This advertisement is for filling an opening for one of the three instructors, particularly focused on the area of transportation infrastructure and sustainability.
