Position description
The Division of Undergraduate Education has an opening for a lecturer during the 2023 Fall Quarter (End of September through the middle of December of 2023) for the following course: H30D-Social Sustainability. This team-taught course (with a political scientist) focuses on the economic, political, and social characteristics of societies that influence the well-being and satisfaction of their populations and, thus, presumably, the sustainability of those societies. In addition, this course provides students with an opportunity to develop their communication skills work on a variety of written, oral, and video presentations.

Qualifications
A PhD in a field appropriate to the course. A broad knowledge of the basic principles of economics and social organization and their application around the world. Experience teaching using an active-learning approach.
