Position description
The selected applicant will need to be able to perform a range of experimental techniques (gene expression, western blots, tissue culture, microscopy, etc.), animal husbandry (maintaining mouse colonies, designing breeding schemes, keeping daily record of body weights/survival/activity, behavioral studies, basic dissections, etc.), and laboratory organization. Preferred to find candidates with RNA/ATAC-seq and bioinformatics analytic skills. Applicants should be able to perform basic quantitative tasks (e.g. dilutions, molarity calculations, manipulating excel files, database management, ordering, etc.). The person in this position will work closely with the principal investigator, potentially resulting in first-author publications and conference presentations.

Qualifications
Requirements include:
-Bachelor’s degree in biology, environmental health, or relevant field.
-At least 1 year laboratory training/experience.
-Prior experience in cell culture, animal models, and/or statistical analysis software are highly encouraged.
-Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in English.
-Ability to work independently with occasional supervision.
-Ability to take initiative, creativity, attention to details and commitment to producing high quality work.
