Position description

Applications are invited for a position at the level of (tenure-track) ASSISTANT PROFESSOR or tenured ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR. The Department of Neurobiology and Behavior is ranked as one of the top neuroscience departments in the country, and engages in interdisciplinary approaches to the study of neurobiology, with an emphasis on neuroplasticity and behavior. Current major research themes include mechanisms of learning and memory, neurodegenerative disorders, sensory neuroscience, and neural development. We seek outstanding candidates whose research focuses on synaptic function as related to development, disease, memory, or behavior, and including synaptic signaling, plasticity, or dynamics. Preference will be given to applicants whose research integrates with, or complements, one or more of the major themes listed above.
