Lecturers in French Language Program 2015-16
Position description
The Department of European Languages and Studies at the University of California, Irvine, anticipates hiring lecturers to teach one or more sections of beginning and/or intermediate French language courses (French 1 and/or 2 or Intensive French 1AB or 1BC). The annual full-time salary is $49,012, but please note that the appointment will be made at 37.5% per section for a total salary of $6,127 per section, and 56.25% per intensive section for a total salary of $9190 per intensive section. Appointment dates will be 10/1/15 – 12/31/15, 1/1/16 – 3/31/16, 4/1/16 – 6/30/16.
Minimum requirements are Master’s Degree in French or related fields; fluency in French and teaching experience in a University setting required.
